Then Sunday morning something odd happened. Chiclet’s muscles clamped down again with a vengeance, and snow-white slobber streamed down from her mouth like a ribbon of phlegmy yogurt. It was then that I panicked. Did this have something to do with the ear infection she’d been fighting? Or her leg pain? Or maybe the stress of it all?
Bridget confirmed that indeed Chiclet’s psoas muscles were in spasm, as was her diaphragm. Twenty minutes later, with Rescue Remedy to calm her,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], laser stimulation to combat inflammation,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], gentle motion palpation of her spine, and Trameel (homeopathic anti-inflammatory cream) on Bridget’s working fingertips, Chiclet was 1000% better.

I guilted my husband into going to the health food store to buy the remedies while I worked on Chiclet’s back and psoas muscles (in the groin area). Soon, Bridget the Chiropractor called and suggested we meet at her office at noon.
My little girl would need a few more chiropractic visits to keep her condition from becoming chronic, but the worst seemed past. Tamara also suggested I feed Chiclet a little, although it had been my instinct to fast her because of the white drool. Tamara reminded me that little dogs are prone to hypoglycemia, and that fasting absent proven gastro distress (like vomiting or diarrhea) may not be the right course of action.

Backtracking to the beginning, before I called my holistic vet (holistic sounds like witch doctor to my medically-disinterested husband), he suggested I get a second opinion from a “regular” vet (the kind with surgical suites and stainless steel counters).
On Friday afternoon (Mother Nature’s favorite time for medical and dental emergencies), my tiny Maltese Chiclet starting limping. Viewed walking from behind, her back legs crossed strangely, one dainty paw touching ground in front of the other, traversing an invisible tightrope.
As far as I could tell, the sum total of her day’s exertion had consisted of lounging on the gym floor with her best friend,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Jiggy, watching me lift weights. Still, she looked injured. Her left leg hovered centimeters above the floor,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], with her thigh clamped in close to her body with such force I couldn’t pry it loose. On Saturday Chiclet was better although she still showed signed of distress. I massaged her a few times, holding pressure on trigger points until muscles relaxed, then went on with my day. I’d had a lot of experience as a chiropractic patient myself, as had Jiggy, so I understood muscle spasms. I didn’t panic.
I took Chiclet home and massaged her back and leg, looking for a sore knee or hip to blame but finding only spasms. The massage seemed to help and it was Friday evening now. I decided to see how she felt the next day.
My gym’s just a few blocks from the office of my dog Jiggy’s chiropractor, Dr. Bridget Chelf, so I dropped by. Bridget shares office space with my vet, so I figured one of them might be in. But no one was. It was late Friday.
My little girl’s muscles were so badly in spasm that cradling her rump was like holding a vibrator stuck on “high.” I called my vet, Tamara Hebbler, and she agreed it sounded like muscle spasm. Tamara said she’d call Jiggy’s chiropractor at home, but suggested that in the mean time I go buy two strengths (30C and 200C) of a homeopathic remedy called magnesia phosphorica. (Different strengths work on different “levels.”) She said to give Chiclet a mixture of the two (3 beads or so of each resting for 30 seconds in a tablespoon of spring water), a little given every two hours for several days, at least 20 minutes away from food.

Bergamot oil is a pale emerald green oil, cold pressed, from the fruit peel of the Citrus Bergamia tree. This tree blooms colorful flowers of red, pink, purple or white. EIGHTH LAW: Demand. The silent, persistent demand of the self upon the Universal Magnetism makes it a center toward which the Forces naturally gravitate.
NINTH LAW: Affirmation. Continuous, intense affirmation of actual possessed magnetic power stimulates the success-elements, maintains receptivity, emphasizes demand, harmonizes and intensifies inner etheric vibrations, and induces a positive movement of the universal ether and its forces inward toward the central self.
TENTH LAW: Psychic energy. All personal magnetism involves psychic energy developed and directed by magnetic intention.

Stand facing each other at a distance of about 4 feet (1.2 m). Your feet are together, arms hang gently at your sides, back straight but not rigid, shoulders relaxed,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], throat loose,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and your eyes are soft. Make loving eye contact with your partner. Inhale slowly through your nose and,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], as you are inhaling, gracefully raise your arms straight out to your sides at shoulder level, palms up. With legs flexed, feel each other’s weight. Feel your spine extending and your legs stretching. Relax your muscles into this posture. Hold for a measured count of 20. Gradually come forward again. Release your partner’s arms and straighten to the upright position. Make loving eye contact. Slowly inhale and raise your arms above your head. Repeat steps 7 through 13 twice. Robert Fulton, was born in Lancaster PA. in 1765. He was a painter who is credited with painting Benjamin Franklin’s portrait. To invent a workable steamboat, Fulton used a special English steam engine. His ship, The Clermont, made it’s debut on August 17, 1807, steaming up river from New York to Albany. Fulton’s boat was mocked as: “Fulton’s Folly.”
Others had worked on the plane, but the Wright Brothers would not quit and worked endlessly till their model flew. "We were lucky enough to grow up in an environment where there was always much encouragement to children to pursue intellectual interests; to investigate whatever aroused curiosity." - Orville Wright

King Camp Gillette, was born on 1-5-1855 and died on 7-9-1932. While working as a traveling bottle stop salesman he got an idea to invent a new safety razor that would be disposable and inexpensive, because the present day razors needed continuous sharpening and were worn out too quickly.
He found it very difficult to invent a blade as thin as paper yet tough enough to cut through tough whiskers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Critics were quick to knock him and his idea.
The brothers tried experiment after experiment to perfect the airplane; in 1905 they had the first practical model of the plane to produce.

Around 1930, Ford asked his engineers to create a V-8 engine that could be mass produced. A year later the frustrated engineers told Ford that it was impossible. The experts said it couldn’t be done, that it was impossible to invent a V-8 engine cast in one piece. Ford was able to mass produce his engine and prove everyone wrong.
Fulton later said, “As I had the occasion daily to pass to and from the shipyard where my boat was in progress, I often loitered near the groups of strangers and heard various remarks as to the object of the new vehicle. The language was uniformly that of scorn, sneer or ridicule. The loud laugh often rose at my expense; the dry jest; the wise calculations of losses or expenditures; the dull repetition of “Fulton’s Folly.” Never did a single encouraging remark, a bright hope, a warm wish cross my path.”
Milo C. Jones, owned a small farm in Wisconsin. He had barely made enough off the farm for his family and him to survive. And then he was struck with a debilitating paralysis and confined to bed. Instead of giving up on life as an invalid, Jones used his time and mind to come up with a game plan for success. He gathered his family together and explained how, with their help and bodies; they would plant every tillable acre of their farm and raise little pigs. And while they were young they would slaughter the tender pigs and make special breakfast sausages named: "Jones Little Pig Sausages" and sell them in every store across the country, and "they’ll sell like hotcakes," he said,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and they did.
Wilbur and Orville Wright, the Wright Bothers, made their first sustained controlled flight in a powered aircraft on 12-17-1903. They had been experimenting since 1896. What do great inventors all have in common? They are intensely driven individuals that will not stop until they have achieved the goal set forth. They are not deterred by failure, no matter how many times they have failed, nor how many experts and people tell them their ideas are foolish and can’t be achieved. I have not failed once. I have succeeded in proving that those 700 ways will not work. When I have eliminated the ways that will not work, I will find the way that will work." And, "discontent is the first necessity of progress."
In 1903 Gillette began production of the Gillette Safety Razor and Blade,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], he only sold 51 razors and 168 blades in the first year. The following year 90,884 razors and 123,648 blades were sold. In 1915 450,000 razors and 70 million blades were sold.
Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone in 1876 at the age of 29. He beat out other inventors of the day that were working on the invention because Bell was able to perfect the invention making his far superior and won out. Bell worked on his theory that speech could be reproduced by means of an electrically charged wire. His first success came while he was testing his instruments in new quarters in Boston. Thomas A.
